So in honor of women’s history month my school is having a live show.
It will be celebrating all that women have done by having a play of Paul Revere’s wife drinking tea and talking about all the stuff white dudes did during the siege of Boston…
Yes, to celebrate women’s history they are having a play in which a woman sits at home drinking tea talking about the history of white men

Honestly curious questions: Is women’s history month a thing people want? Isn’t it a.) MORE divisive and b.) belittling to have women’s history shoved into one month? Isn’t women’s history human history? All I can seem to glean from this idea is that I can only learn about Marie Curie, Anne Frank, Helen Keller, or any other great woman during the month of March.
Even curiouser: this is the first time I’ve ever heard of Women’s History Month, which is weird considering it’s been in effect since 2010 apparently.
